Logo design competition
From Order of Cosmic Engineers
We think the current logo, a golden infinity sign over a cosmic background, is conceptually good but could be done better. I am sure someone here can do it better, or think of a better design idea.
So we will launch a logo design competition. No firm and strict guidelines - just think of a design that captures the most important ideas in the Prospectus and try to come up with a good graphical implementation. Team contributions will also be accepted.
The prize? A life membership in the Order of Cosmic Engineers - this prize has an infinite value if our fight against mortality is successful!

Isen Hand: On reading the prospectus I get a lot of positive images of exploration, hope, new horizons, technology and space. So, I took space patches as an inspiration (like the Apollo badges) and made something that could be sown and stitched on a jacket. I has a bit of a space theme with the rocket and starts but they are meant to symbolise the ideas of an optimist view for the future and exploration with an infinity of the cosmos found in the stars. The sun coming over the horizon is also about infinite possibilities and the dawn of a new age. The rocket also symbolises science and technology.
Eschatoon: golden infinity over gradient cosmic blue, inspired by the logo of the Cosmic Engineers Guild in World of Warcraft. Same as below with 2px gaussian blur and saturation increased by 24 in the golden infinity layer. This works well at small sizes and is currently used where a small logo is needed.
